Connecting Global Markets, Empowering Local Ventures.

I am an entrepreneur with over a decade of leadership experience, driven by a vision to connect global markets with local excellence. My expertise spans across Fintech, Healthcare Distribution, E-commerce, and now, Global Logistics.
Currently, I serve as the MD & CEO of Citi Remit Limited, streamlining cross-border financial services. I am also the proprietor of Eye 71 and a partner at Nitmag, focusing on premium global brand distribution and e-commerce in Bangladesh. Expanding my footprint in international trade, I have launched Swift Shipping & Logistics, a C&F venture designed to simplify global supply chains.

Kathmandu introduced me to Nepal’s rich cultural and spiritual traditions. Historic temples, traditional architecture, and local communities create an atmosphere that feels both authentic and welcoming.

My First International Travel Experience

Nepal was my first international trip, making the journey particularly memorable and exciting. Like many first-time travelers, I was eager but also slightly nervous about the experience ahead.

One of the most unforgettable moments happened even before boarding the flight. After receiving our boarding passes, my friend and I faced additional questions during the immigration process. As first-time international travelers, we felt that the officers wanted to be extra cautious and verify our travel plans more carefully. The process took longer than we expected, while our flight departure time was getting closer and closer. For a moment, we genuinely thought we might miss the flight.

Fortunately, after answering their questions and clarifying our travel plans, we received clearance to proceed. By then, boarding was already underway. We rushed through the airport as fast as we could, almost like passengers running to catch a crowded local bus in Dhaka. Looking back, the scene was both stressful and hilarious.

When we finally boarded the aircraft and settled into our seats, my friend and I looked at each other and laughed. The journey had not even started yet, but we already had a story that would stay with us for years.

That experience taught me an important lesson about international travel: preparation, patience, and staying calm can make all the difference when unexpected situations arise.

What Impressed Me

The city’s deep connection to heritage and spirituality.

Key Takeaway

Cultural identity remains strongest when communities actively preserve their traditions.
